I'm Anya and I like to draw 

I'm very impressionable and the stories of ghosts and witches stir my imagination still. Sharing those stories with the world in visual form is what I do. I believe there is always room for visual extravagance in daily life, and that something as trivial as a business card is a canvas to be populated with images. No matter what my subject matter is, I can never help bringing an avalanche of color to my work.

As an illustrator, I approach my subject matter thoughtfully and thoroughly, and aim to be well-informed and express a concrete thought in a visual form, and not just pop out a pretty picture. I've gone as far as to actually visit places where fictional stories took place in order to illustrate them, as you can see here.
